What is the purpose of the program? 

The purpose of Emoticon is to provide a complete directory of every emoticon available to email users. It is sometimes difficult to relay your feelings to your reader when writing email or understanding the feelings of others when reading their email. Often, the writer's true feelings get lost behind the words he or she has written. Emoticons help. And they're fun too! ;)
